            AUNT OBSERLIE'S EASY CRUSTY BREAD
          
          Does it ever seem like the art of making bread has been lost to time?
Well we're here to BRING IT BACK with this Easy Crusty Bread recipe.
Ingredients
3 Cups of unbleached flour (or 2 cups unbleached, 1 cup whole wheat)
1-3/4 teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of yeast
1-1/2 cups of water
Make the Bread
In a large mixing bowl whisk together the flour, salt and yeast.
Add the water and mix until a shaggy mixture forms.
Cover the bowl will plastic wrap and set aside for 12 – 18 hours or overnight.
 
Get out your cast iron roasting pan and preheat your oven to 450 F.
Place the cast iron pot with the lid on in the hot oven for 30 minutes.
 
Pour the dough onto a heavily floured surface and shape it into a ball.
Cover it with plastic wrap, let it set while the pot is heating.
 
Remove the pot from the oven, drop in the dough, cover and return to the oven for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, remove the lid and bake for another 15 mins.
 
Remove the pot from the oven and cool on a rack.
 
Now it's time to enjoy the fruits of your hard work and break some bread with family!
